to TollPass

TollPass is developed and maintained by Connexion Technologies, based in Vadodara, Gujarat, India.

This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the TollPass mobile application available on the Google Play Store.

TollPass is designed to work with minimal data. Here's the full picture:

✅ What we DO use (locally, on your device only):

• Location (GPS): Used only to auto-fill your "From" location. Never stored on any server.
• Search History: Your recent routes are saved locally in the app's private database on your phone only.
• Toll Database: A master database of Indian toll plazas is downloaded to your device for offline use.

❌ What we do NOT collect:

• Your name, email, phone number, or any personal identifier
• Your location history or travel patterns on any server
• Payment or financial information of any kind
• Contact list, photos, or any other device data

TollPass requests access to your device's GPS only when you open the app to auto-detect your current city as the starting location for a route search.

You may deny location permission and manually type your starting city — the app works fully without GPS access.

TollPass uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (by Google) to help us understand app usage and fix crashes. These services may collect:

• App usage events (e.g. "route searched", "app opened") — no route details
• Crash logs and error reports to help us fix bugs
• Device model, OS version, and app version

This data is anonymised and governed by Google's Privacy Policy. No personally identifiable information is included.

All app data (search history, toll database, cached routes) is stored locally on your device using SQLite — Android's private app storage that cannot be accessed by other apps.

Our toll database server is used only to periodically sync the master list of toll plazas. This sync contains no user data whatsoever.

TollPass uses the following third-party services to provide its features:

• OSRM (Open Source Routing Machine): For calculating highway routes. Queries contain only coordinates, no user identity.
• Nominatim (OpenStreetMap): For converting city names to GPS coordinates. No user data is stored.
• Firebase (Google): For crash reporting and anonymous usage analytics.

We do not integrate any advertising SDKs. TollPass contains no ads.

TollPass is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Since we collect no personal data from any user, this policy applies equally to all age groups.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this page and post the new version here.

We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of TollPass after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

Since TollPass stores no personal data on any server, there is nothing to access, export, or delete remotely. However, you can:

• Clear your search history at any time from within the app
• Revoke location permission from Android Settings at any time
• Uninstall the app to remove all locally stored data
